Herman Miller’s new modular lounge furniture collection was a big hit at NeoCon in Chicago, and customers can expect to enjoy the collection this July.

Herman Miller’s Living Office collection is unique in that it was created to support a variety of productive and creative settings. The Plex Lounge Furniture embodies that ideal with a simple modular design that’s able to convert into a variety of seating combinations.

Imagined by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin of London-based Industrial Facility, Plex was crafted to allow users to conform to a variety of postures to support a bevy of activities from chatting with friends to checking email to dozing on a warm afternoon.

Herman Miller’s collection is inherently retro in inspiration but modern in shape and style with a rectangular seat as the foundation and a simple construction of just six elements. Those pieces can be uniquely combined to created sofas, ottomans, benches, and armchairs. Additionally, moveable tables have been created to nest closely to Plex seats for a comfortable work space.

Of course power ports are available for charging tech, and Plex offers a variety of casters, legs, swivel bases, and material choices so customers can customize their look, configuration, and comfort.
