American tuner Hennessey has unveiled its 25th Anniversary Edition HPE800 Ford Mustang, of which only 25 models will be built.
Hennessey will enhance either the current model Mustang GT convertible or hardtop, and when they get done with the vehicle, it will be a different animal altogether.
Hennessey has spared no expense in tricking out the limited-edition Mustang, giving it a namesake HPE800 Supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine with a 2.9-liter Supercharger system and a carbon-fiber high flow air induction system. This means the Hennessey road monster now makes 804 horsepower and 648 pound-feet of torque.
All this, well, tuning, didn’t go to waste as the 25th Anniversary Edition HPE800 has impressive specs too. It runs zero-to-60 mph in 3.1 seconds, runs the quarter-mile sprint in only 10.7 while reaching speeds of 133 mph, and tops out at a whopping 207.9 mph.
Rounded off by Hennessey-embroidered headrests, 25th anniversary badging in both the interior and exterior of the car, a numbered serial plaque, and a 25th anniversary certificate of authenticity, anyone walking or driving by will know exactly where these special Ford Mustangs came from.
