Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees fame and his wife, actress Vanessa Minnillo, have just unloaded their Encino, California, home for $3.995 million.

The pair purchased the six-bedroom, eight-bath family home in 2011 for $2.85 million. The 8,134-square-foot Mediterranean-style estate is set behind gates in a quiet and lush cul-de-sac.

Although it was built back in 1981, the home is completely modern with formal living and dining rooms, a screening room, a chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry, and an impressive master suite complete with his-and-hers closets and a large bathtub.

Outback, the new owners will find a family-friendly and entertaining-ready yard with a pool, an outdoor fire pit with seating, a basketball court, and a covered trellis patio with a fountain.

Lachey first found fame as a member of 90s boy band 98 Degrees and has since started a family.
