American writer and director Spike Jonze has finally sold his Wall Street Apartment for $3.2 million after nearly six months on the market.
The FiDi apartment at 75 Wall Street spans 2,279 square feet and holds three bedrooms and three baths. It was created by combining a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom unit in the building. The final product is quite luxurious with wide-planked oak flooring, ample closet space, and 10-foot high ceilings.
The Academy Award-winning director and his sister Julie Spiegel Lunn purchased the apartment back in 2011 for $2.35 million as a gift to their mother.
Jonze’s former home is set atop the Andaz Hotel, and while the units were in high demand when they landed on the market in 2011, a few refurbished condos have been made available recently.
