Ryan Reynolds Named Brand Ambassador for Swiss Watchmaker Piaget

Ryan Reynolds can add another job to his resume. The “Deadpool” star is the new male international brand ambassador for Piaget.

“You can’t find a more iconic brand, or one which better exemplifies craftsmanship, elegance and creativity. This is something that means a lot to me,” Reynolds said about Piaget. “I work in a field in which things can be cast away quite quickly. So when you find something timeless, it’s important. And that’s one of the many things I love about Piaget.”

For Piaget, Reynolds embodies the type of ambassador that has the same dedication to his art that the Swiss brand has for its timepieces.

“[Ryan’s] daring on-screen performances paired with his magnetic good looks have earned him a place as one of Hollywood’s leading men. Like Piaget, he fearlessly brings creativity to his art,” said Piaget CEO Philippe Léopold-Metzger.

This isn’t Piaget’s only connection to Hollywood either. The face of the brand’s women’s line is Oscar-nominated and in-demand actress Jessica Chastain. Piaget is heading into its 10th year as the premier sponsor of the Film Independent Spirit Awards, which is an event we will surely see Reynolds at along with his wife, Blake Lively, this coming February.
