The Mercedes-AMG GT S is already a fine example of automobile excellence, and now German tuner Mansory has come out with an even more refined and powerful version of the vehicle.
Mansory gave the GT S a wide body kit fashioned from carbon fiber, which features a new front spoiler and a few design tweaks along the side of the car that add about 10 inches in width on each side. Mansory claims its changes have made the vehicle even more aerodynamic and easier to drive with extra downforce and less lift than the original GT S that Mercedes-AMG offers.
The most impressive feat Mansory has pulled off with its version of the GT S, however, is the extra 200-plus horsepower it gets out of the already 503-hp Mercedes-AMG engine.
The Mansory GT S has the same twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8, but the tuner has given the car a pair of larger turbochargers, a new mapping system, and a stainless steel sports exhaust system to bring its output to a total of 720 hp and a top speed of 205 mph.
This extra juice, along with the added aerodynamics of the new wide body kit, gives the Mansory AMG GT S a zero-to-62-mph time of 3.4 seconds.
The interior of the German tuner’s creation is luxurious too and features a mix of its carbon fabric and hand-stitched leather that is designed to match the color of the exterior paint job.
Mansory first unveiled its GT S at the Geneva Motor Show.
