Barbara Corcoran, one of the uber-successful sharks on “Shark Tank,” has just made a deal of her own with the sale of her New York City apartment for $4.9 million.
Corcoran is known as a real estate magnate, and her namesake, the Corcoran Group Real Estate, handled the unloading of the Park Avenue unit. The businesswoman’s impressive Upper East Side home spans 2,700 square feet and is quite charming.
The co-op building is cozy with a light pastel color palette and plenty of family photos and personal artwork. The kitchen is stylish, too, with open white cabinetry and light wood floors that make the home look more like a Hamptons cottage than a Big Apple unit.
Although Corcoran is known for managing high-end deals, she describes her co-op as comfortable rather than fancy. She sold her first-floor one-bedroom in 2012 but waited until the time was right to unload this unit.
Corcoran sold the Corcoran Group Real Estate back in 2001 and has continued to make successful deals since. Her net worth is estimated at $80 million.
