Adjectives oft associated with the Mini Cooper are: cute, petite, adorable. Certainly drivers don’t usually associate the Mini with scramblers, but BMW’s small vehicle is packing a big punch with a unique scrambler-inspired Clubman ALL4.
Although the term “scrambler” is usually associated with motorcycles instead of four-door crossovers, Mini’s Italian design team has decked out one of its Clubman models with raised suspension, knobby tires, and a scrambler badge on the back.
Sporting four wheels and a more humble growl than a motorbike, the Mini truly honors the spirit behind most scrambler bikes. The all-wheel drive Clubman’s knobby tires may not be ready for the Rubicon, but it’s now far more equipped to handle muddy or uneven roads.
The ALL4 doesn’t feature additional functional adjustments, but the added changes with the cool aesthetic offers a truly unique little vehicle. The special Clubman even comes fitted with a roof rack and sports some retro styling harkening back to days long past. Mini’s blast-from-the-past look is especially present inside with Alcantara, tan leather, and a carpeted trunk.
The eye-catching Clubman ALL4 Scrambler made its grand debut at this year’s Salone dell’Auto Turino.
