A New York condo with more pedigree than an award-winning show dog has recently landed on the open market for $6.95 million.
This 2,200-square-foot pre-war apartment was once the marital home of Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe, Bobby Short, fashion designer Bill Blass, and most recently a Swedish princess. The apartment was even visited by acting legend Cary Grant and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor for one of Blass’ famous parties.
With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the living space also features heated floors, a contemporary kitchen complete with a breakfast bar, and a solarium in the guestroom. The home also boasts views of the 59th Street Bridge and the East River.
Monroe and Miller moved into the apartment right after their marriage in 1956 and lived there until their 1961 divorce.
