Gucci Penthouse Receives $10M Price Cut, Now $35M

The Gucci sisters have cut the asking price for their Fifth Avenue penthouse to $35 million after first listing the pad located atop the Olympic Tower for $45 million last summer.

The $10-million price cut didn’t come with any changes to the penthouse, and the interior décor is what one would expect from the themes of the Italian fashion maison, offering colorful accents paired with mid-century modern features.

Although first used by Maurizio Gucci, his daughters Alessandra and Allegra now own the property. The apartment measures in at 9,540 square feet and was actually created from a pair of smaller units.

The Gucci penthouse holds 8 bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms, but one room will likely steal the show, as it and its shower stall boast incredible views of the Empire State Building.

If you like the location but want something different, a 7,750-square-foot duplex in the same building was listed at the end of April for $33 million. It was previously rented by Anne Hathaway.
