In honor of its 70th anniversary, Klipsch is unveiling a limited edition run of its Klipschorn series speakers. The audio brand’s advanced anniversary speakers will be available for $16,000 a pair.

A variety of special details make the speakers truly unique, and upgraded enhancements ensure high-quality sound production. Touches like special edition logos, hand-crafted grill cloths, and exotic wood veneer finishes add luxury to the speakers.

The loudspeakers were first launched in 1946 by Paul W. Klipsch with the goal of providing listeners with the pure, detailed sounds of live performances at home. The new Klipschorns sport a special anniversary nameplate that identifies the unique numbered sequence in the series in addition to the signature of the creator.

Only 70 pairs of the speakers will be made and they will be handmade at the manufacturing facility in Hope, Arizona. Customers can expect upgraded features such as excellent bass performance as well as a fully enclosed rear low-frequency horn that provides more placement versatility.
