China is home to the world’s largest drone manufacturer, DJI. Now another Chinese company has just unveiled its first consumer drone.

Xiaomi’s first drone is a modular quadcopter with a variety of autonomous features and an excellent price point. Simply named “Mi,” it sports an all-white body with a spherical video camera set beneath the center point.

Mi will be available in two versions and both sport a camera attached to a 3-axis gimbal that’s able to shoot in either 4K at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps. Images are captured both in RAW and JPEG using a Sony 12-megapixel CMOS sensor.

Operated by a dual-joystick controller, Mi has a flight time of 27 minutes and the ability to fly autonomously to a pre-determined destination, to circle a point of interest, and to follow user-set flight routes. Additionally, thanks to the drone’s modular design, the camera and gimbal can be detached, and the landing gear can be folded up for easy transport.

While similar drones are priced much higher, Mi is available for $460 for the 4K version or $380 for the 1080p version.
