Actors Anthony LaPaglia and wife Gia Carides have sold their high-end Brentwood Park home in Los Angeles. The Australian stars are parting with their home as part of their impending divorce and received $8.2 million for the stunning estate.
The divorcing pair have actually reduced the price of their home twice before finding a buyer, first by $3 million, and then again by almost $800,000. LaPaglia and Carides, who were married for around 17 years, purchased the half-acre estate for an unknown amount back in November 2003.
The impressive 1940s Cape Cod home is fully renovated and upgraded, spanning 5,500 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 6.5 baths. While the whole home is luxurious, the family room is especially luxe with exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and a full wall of transom-topped glass doors leading to a beautiful garden.
Other amenities includes a large deck, a swimming pool, and two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor, which are perfect for guests. Of course, the master wows too with dual closets, two vintage-style bathrooms complete with classic penny till flooring, and a sitting area with a fireplace.
The gated grounds are also home to a multi-purpose sports court and an ultra-tall hedge for privacy.
