Indie film star Parker Posey has just listed her New York City co-op. Known most recently for her work in “Café Society” which debuted at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, the talented actress is hoping to unload her apartment for $1.45 million.
The unit is located in a full-service, pre-war building on NYC’s lower Fifth Avenue. Posey bought the one-bedroom, one-bath apartment for $1.35 million back in 2008. At roughly 800 square feet, the sixth-floor unit features accents like original herringbone pattern hardwood floors and gold-foil wallpaper.
Although the condo is small in size, unique additions like open bookshelves in the 20-foot-long living room, black wall paint, and unique snakeskin patterns on the backsplashes give it a personality of its own. Additionally, the Manhattan apartment also has its own storage room, which is surely a highly coveted asset in any NYC home.
Posey also owns a large country estate complete with a mid-19th-century farmhouse in upstate New York, and she is set to appear in Christopher Guest’s mockumentary “Mascots,” available on Netflix later this year.
