On the heels of a contemptuous and public divorce, musician Gavin Rossdale has purchased a Studio City, California, home. The sale set a new record for the city with its $7.6-million price tag.
Rossdale’s modern and contemporary home is set on 1.3 acres of ridgeline promontory and sports incredible panoramic views that span as far as the San Fernando Valley. Located on a gated drive, the Bush singer’s roughly 8,000-square-foot home holds 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths.
The newly constructed, ultra-modern house features glass-walled, open-plan living spaces and a double-height living room complete with a fireplace and a chic kitchen. The family room is also meant for entertaining with a wet bar that appears through disappearing glass sliders.
In addition to the incredible views, three fire pits, a swimming pool, and an outdoor kitchen give visitors a reason to congregate outside. The musician’s new home also sports a state-of-the-art security system and a comprehensive home automation system.
Although they separated last year, Rossdale and Stefani still co-own a 12,000-square-foot contemporary near Beverly Hills that the ex-duo purchased for $13.25 million back in 2006.
