Embraer Jets is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its large business jet, the Lineage 1000E, with a brand-new and luxurious cabin concept. The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer’s Kyoto Airship design features large, tall windows and skylights around the fuselage.

First unveiled in 2006, the Lineage 1000E sports a range of 4,600 NMI and has the most advanced electronic fly-by-wire flight control system on board. It also has an optional “Autoland” feature that enables the plane to complete an approach, touchdown, and five-second roll-out on the runway when the autopilot is set.

Made to accommodate up to 19 passengers, the Lineage’s cabin is divided into five separate areas for lounging, dining, conferencing, or relaxing, and it reportedly features the biggest luggage compartment in business aviation.

The unique Kyoto Airship concept was inspired by the Japanese tradition of sitting on cushions on the floor. Lowered windows offer better views from a variety of seating positions and, of course, the skylights provide unparalleled views.

Passengers will also surely enjoy the iPad-controlled entertainment and cabin management system, in addition to a media center that supports a variety of devices.
