Singer-songwriter Donavon Frankenreiter has just listed his expansive Hawaiian home. The melodic artist is hoping to unload his custom-built retreat for $6.6 million.
Located on 6.5 acres of land in Kilauea on Kauai’s north shore, the beachside retreat is ultra luxurious with two homes and a bevy of amenities. The combined living space of the two homes is 5,752 square feet and both features unique indoor-outdoor spaces with a modern-Balinese aesthetic.
In fact, Frankenreiter’s wife Petra was the interior designer and her influence can be seen on the three-bedroom, three-bath main house that features 100-year-old teak flooring and a master bath with crystal inlays and a soaking tub carved from a massive piece of river stone.
Inspired by a mixture of outdoor elements brought inside, the second home wows too with one bedroom, one bath, and a reclaimed teak wood construction.
Additional amenities include fruit trees, a lily pond, an infinity pool, an outdoor shower, and several outdoor lounging areas. The estate took two years to build, and it shows with mindful construction and unique styling.
