Actor Sacha Baron Cohen has finally unloaded his Los Angeles home in the neighborhood above Laurel Canyon in a $2.5-million off-market deal.
The updated 2,800-square-foot single-level house was built in the 1950s and boasts three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The parcel also holds a pool house/guesthouse that has a steam shower near the open-form swimming pool and a dining terrace located just outside of the main house.
The spacious abode also features a 22-foot ceiling in the living room, which also holds an eye-catching river-rock fireplace.
Baron Cohen and his wife, actress Isla Fisher, first tried to offload the home in 2010 with a $2.9-million asking price after upgrading to a multi-acre estate that cost them in the range of $14 million. It had bounced around on the market until its recent sale.
The buyer of the home was a Seattle-area church organization that’s led by pastor Judah Smith, who is famous for being Justin Bieber’s minister.
