A few months ago, Rolls-Royce revealed that the seventh generation of the Phantom was going to make way for the eighth, meaning the Phantom Coupé and Phantom Drophead Coupé editions of the model would roll into retirement.
But now the British carmaker has announced that one last special collection, The Phantom Zenith Collection, will come out to celebrate the Phantom’s two outgoing versions. The specially released models are meant to serve as collector’s editions to join significant collections around the globe and have been bred by the Rolls-Royce Bespoke division.
The Zenith Collection Phantoms have a bevy of unique and unusual features such as a split tailgate with leather cushioning for enjoying picnics that pairs with a fridge with room for two Champagne bottles and eight Rolls-Royce glasses. Owners of the Zenith Collection models can also add a personalized Rolls-Royce Picnic Hamper with matching color schemes and materials to complete the ultimate luxury picnic experience.
Rolls-Royce has drawn its interior and exterior inspirations from former iconic and modern favorites, including 1930s Phantom II and Phantom II Continental models and the 2011 Phantom Coupé Aviator Collection.
All of the Zenith Collection cars will roll off the Goodwood, England, assembly line soon with Rolls-Royce taking its last orders for the Phantom Zenith Collection now.
