There are many Bluetooth speakers on the market nowadays, but they shouldn’t be confused with Sony’s newest creation, the Glass Sound Speaker.
Designed to sit on top of a tabletop or shelf, the Glass Sound Speaker is a glass cylinder that emits a clean and crisp sound to any room and looks like a candle or lantern while doing so. Sony’s new speaker can be linked to another of its twins to create play in stereo and seamlessly be the life of any party.
The glass cylinder holds a small grouping of dimmable LEDs that offer a warm glow and look like a candle inside of a hurricane holder. Additionally, the glass isn’t just for show. It actually helps to transmit the vibrating sounds from the driver located on the speaker’s base.
Sony’s new Glass Sound Speaker has a four-hour battery life and costs $799.
