Tennis star Gael Monfils recently purchased a penthouse at the Paraiso complex in the East Edgewater area of Miami.
The pied-a-terre penthouse is located in the GranParaiso tower, the third one set to be built on the 10-acre Paraiso development that is scheduled to be finished in 2018. The apartment measures in at a little under 2,000-square-feet and features floor-to-ceiling windows and an enormous wrap-around terrace to have complete and stunning views of nearby Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline.
The amenities of the Paraiso complex include a tennis club and pro shop with five adjoining lighted tennis courts, a 100-foot zero-entry swimming pool, a fitness center and spa, a bowling alley, golf simulator, wine cellar, cigar lounge, screening room, and a private marina with a waterfront beach club.
Monfils will not be the only star to call the multi-tower resort-style living complex home. Other residents include the New York Yankees Alex Rodriguez, San Antonio Spurs star guard Manu Ginobili, and popular DJ David Guetta.
No price has been reported on the Monfils sale, but similar penthouses at the GranParaiso have sold for between $2.5 million and $4 million.
