North Dakota’s most expensive home on the market is set just across the river from Bismarck in Mandan and is a stunning manse with a $2.78-million asking price.

The 8,717-square-foot house was built 10 years ago for the current owners, but thanks to foresight in the design, the home features many contemporary designs and looks like it was built more recently.

The estate holds five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and has remote-controlled lighting and blinds on top of a bevy of other amenities such as a media room, an exercise room, a hot tub, and both an indoor and outdoor basketball court.

The home was designed with a family in mind and has a four-car garage and a washer and dryer housed in the master suite.

The sellers know they’re looking for a special buyer in an area where the median price of a home is just south of $150,000. The jewel of North Dakota was originally listed in 2014 for $3.8 million and reduced again to $3.3 million back in 2015 before receiving its current list price.
