The owners of New Mexico’s most expensive listing have had a lot of patience, over two years worth of it in fact, as they’re still waiting for the right buyer to pay their $13.65-million asking price.

The 13,779-square-foot home sitting on 16.6 acres north of Santa Fe was built in 2006 with materials brought in from all over the world to boast the finest finishes and workmanship a house can offer. The mansion holds six bedrooms, five full and two half bathrooms, and there is also a two-bedroom guesthouse on the property.

The home’s exterior was built with a liberal amount of stone and wood, and along with dedicated landscaping, has become one with its surrounding environment. But if the future owner wanted to break up the harmony a bit, a massive pool and even a horse barn could be added easily thanks to all of the room on the lot.

The main house also sports liberal amounts of reclaimed woods (hickory, mesquite, and walnut) lining the interior, formal dining and living rooms, and a family room, in addition to a granite-countertop kitchen with two ovens and two islands.
