A-list actress Jessica Chastain has listed her two-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex apartment in a full-service co-op building in lower Manhattan for $1.8 million.
The pre-war building is situated between the Soho, Noho, and Greenwich Village neighborhoods and has access to a little bit of everything in New York City. Chastain’s nearly 1,300-square-foot pad is also available for rent for about $8,000 per month furnished and $8,500 a month unfurnished.
Chastain’s apartment boasts herringbone-pattern hardwood floors, a stacked-stone fireplace, 10.5-foot ceilings, and a decked out kitchen with granite and butcher-block countertops and top-of-the-line appliances.
The in-demand actress scooped up the property in 2012 for $1.2 million but is most likely willing to move on from the apartment because of the $5.1-million space in the Osbourne building across the street from Carnegie Hall that her and her beau, Count Gian Luca Passi de Presposulo, purchased last year.
