Montblanc is known for its technologically advanced and luxurious writing instruments. Now the iconic brand has unveiled a new collection to mark its 110th anniversary.
Established in 1906 by Alfred Nehemias, August Eberstein, and Claus-Johannes Voss, the new collection returns to its origins with a range of timepieces, men’s accessories, leather goods, and, of course, writing instruments.
As a nod to its past, an undulating serpent that acted as Montblanc’s motif in the 1920s appears again with contemporary accents and style.
One of the most impressive items is the special edition of the “Rouge et Noir,” which features a slender shape and contemporary piston technology for an advanced writing experience. Also available in a new Heritage Collection shape, the new instruments feature a two-tone gold nib engraved with the serpent’s head motif.
Montblanc’s limited-edition watch wows too with an in-house, one-minute tourbillon, a three-dimensional anthracite serpent, and a double cylindrical balance spring. With an exposed mechanism, floating hands, and black rhodium-plated bridges and plates, the watch is just as luxurious as the brand’s pens.
