As one of the leading luxury automakers in the world, Mercedes-Benz is no stranger to success. However, with a record first month, the company is celebrating the delivery of more cars in one month’s time than ever before. On top of that, it registered a record quarter in Q1 2016 as well.

Mercedes delivered a whopping 198,921 cars in March 2016, and this achievement follows a record month of February as well. Both the European and Asia-Pacific regions were the most profitable areas and each set new sales records.

Additionally, Mercedes-Benz was the luxury market leader in Portugal, Taiwan, Australia, Japan, and Canada for the month of March. The E-Class Sedan and Wagon were the best-selling models. The C-Class Sedan and Wagon models were popular as well.
