Janice Dickinson has just listed her Beverly Hills home for $1.995 million. The iconic 1970s and ’80s model, who just announced that she’s been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, is hoping to unload the home that’s actually owned by her fiancé, psychiatrist Dr. Robert “Rocky” Gerner.
Gerner purchased the home back in late 2012 for $1.43 million, which was right before Dickinson filed for bankruptcy to try to settle nearly $1 million of debt.
The split-level house of the self-proclaimed “World’s First Supermodel” was built in 1948 and features three en-suite bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Spanning 2,702 square feet set on more than a quarter of an acre, unique touches like wrought iron chandeliers and hand-carved wooden doors give the space a bespoke feel.
Additional features like dark hardwood floors and a vaulted, sky-lit ceiling add luxury while pop art portraits of Dickinson herself add an unusual appeal. A large terrace sits atop a two-car carport and the master suite features a raised ceiling and unique gold-painted carved wood doors.
Outside, a fire pit, koi pond, octagonal teahouse, yoga terrace, and incredible views of the canyon make the property even more valuable.
