Hollywood’s celebrated comedy duo Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann have just sold their Malibu beach house for $11.5 million. The actress and producer sold their updated 1930s cottage that’s nestled in the gate-guarded Colony enclave to high-powered attorney Theodore “Ted” Boutrous Junior.
With white shutters and blue stucco, the 2,550-square-foot, two-story home sports three bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The pair purchased the house back in June of 2013 for $11.85 million so, unfortunately, they’re taking a bit of a loss on the sale.
An expansive combination living room and dining room feature white brick fireplaces while an adjoining sunroom offers plenty of comfort with built-in cushioned banquettes leading out to a bi-level deck with beach access.
Down curlicue stairs is the spacious, L-shaped terrace outside of the master suite that’s complete with a fireplace and compact bathroom with a marble-topped vanity and white-tile lined shower.
The successful Hollywood pair own several other properties in both Los Angeles and New York, including a Brentwood-area mansion and a 9,600-square-foot triplex in Manhattan’s West Village.
