Less than five years after former MLB pitcher Tom Glavine snapped up a beachfront property in Rosemary Beach, Florida, for $7.3 million, the Hall of Famer has sold the mansion for $10.25 million.

Glavine first listed the home for $11.75 million last September before accepting $1.5 million less for the property last month.

The home is located on the Gulf of Mexico side of 30-A and is the perfect model of a lavish beach house. The listing also includes a one-bedroom guesthouse above the two-car garage and right next to the pool.

The listing agent Chris Abbott noted that Glavine and his family used the home for long weekends and getaways while not in Atlanta and mentioned that the new owner is from Dallas and probably has the same idea in mind for using the oceanside getaway.
