Aston Martin recently announced its V12 Vantage S classic manual model will come to the United States, making many enthusiasts pretty excited. Now the British brand has also revealed that the 2017 V8 Vantage will be limited to a single model in America, the GTS.
After a long run, the Vantage is about to enter retirement, which is why Aston Martin is only announcing one version of the popular car.
The 2017 V8 Vantage GTS will actually feature a 4.0-liter AMG V8 that Aston Martin has sourced from Mercedes in place of the 4.7-liter V8 that had previously been featured in the model.
The GTS will be available with several options, including the choice between Coupe and Roadster, six-speed manual or seven-speed automated shift transmissions, and two different style packages called Sport Edition and Lux Edition.
The Sport Edition has a liberal amount of carbon fiber, a front grill with a black finish, and the original sports suspension. The Lux Edition comes with what Aston Martin has called “comfort suspension,” a shiny metal grill, and a standard Bang & Olufsen audio system.
