First baseman and super slugger for the Detroit Tigers Miguel Cabrera has just listed his Michigan home for $2 million. Cabrera purchased the Birmingham property back in 2008, which was the same year the seven-bedroom Tudor was built.
The classic contemporary home sports plenty of open spaces and offered room for the Venezuelan slugger to host family get-togethers. Cabrera actually added a bonus room upstairs, two bedrooms in the basement, and a media room complete with leather seats.
Spanning 5,762 square feet, hardwood floors, a finished basement with a bar, and an incredible paneled library with a coffered ceiling gives the home a polished and homey feel. New additions also include a stunning outdoor patio complete with a fire pit and a built-in grill.
The two-time American League MVP recently purchased a new property in Grosse Pointe for $3.2 million where he will be closer to the ballpark.
