Fans of true crime should prepare themselves: the North Attleboro, Massachusetts, house of convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez is now on the market for $1.5 million.
The former New England Patriots player and convicted murderer’s luxurious home is being sold as part of a civil case against him. Spanning 5,600 square feet, it’s the property that was famously searched by the police for ties to the murder.
Hernandez’ brick Colonial was built in 2007 and sports five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and an open floor plan. The backyard is perfect for lounging outside with a large swimming pool and a built-in barbecue area.
Connected living spaces and a large chef’s kitchen with granite countertops and Wolf appliances make it perfect for entertaining, and guests will also surely enjoy the finished basement complete with a bar, workout space, and a home theater. The master suite is lush too with a wet bar, fireplace, and balcony.
With such a sordid connection, it’s unknown if the affiliation will help or hurt the sale of this home since many might remember seeing video footage of Hernandez on the property with a gun just minutes after the murder.
