There were a few questionable style choices when it came to extravagant versions of luxury vehicles at the 2016 New York Auto Show, but one brand who seemed to hit the mark was BMW with the Master Class and Solitaire Editions of its 7 Series model.
The souped up 7 Series both earned specially mixed colors, with the Master Class featuring a Black Gold color scheme and the Solitaire wowing in a custom white hue.
Both models were based off of the 750i xDrive, meaning they also both have a twin-turbocharged, 4.4-liter V8 that makes 445 horsepower and sends its torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
But where these special editions truly shine is in their interiors, with top-grade leather, microsuede, and even lambswool carpeting. There are also other amenities like tissue holders in the rear doors, custom-matching pillows for the rear passengers to lounge on, and even a mini bar with champagne flutes. But the icing on the cake are the five diamonds applied to the décor strips on the dashboard and doors.
There will be six examples of the Solitaire Edition, while the Master Class Edition shown in New York is a one-off.
