L.A. is no stranger to lavish and luxurious homes, but a new home built on a piece of land once owned by Barbra Streisand might be the most opulent and it comes with a $150-million price tag to prove it.

Spanning 38,000 square feet, the recently completed property sports a main home and several guest houses across 2.17 acres on North Carolwood Drive. The mega-mansion itself is quite incredible, but so is the lot with a private hiking trail and three swimming pools.

Although many details have yet to be revealed, the main home has a hair salon, steam and massage rooms, and an indoor lap pool. Of course, nothing beats the entertainment suite, dubbed “Club Mon Rêve,” that features a wine room, lounge, and a screening room.

Perhaps the most incredible aspect of the home is the master bedroom that spans 5,300 square feet. In case you’re wondering, that’s more than twice the size of the average American home.

The developer paid $13.25 million for the vacant lot in 2014; Streisand’s longtime home had already been torn down in 2000. Although luxurious, this home isn’t the first high-priced pad on the block. In fact, Fleur de Lys and the former Walt Disney estate, both on Carolwood Drive, sold for $102 million and $74 million respectively.
