Pop megastar Britney Spears has placed her Thousand Oaks, California, mansion up for sale for $8.995 million just four years after purchasing the home for just under $6.75 million.

The 2010-built, single-story, Spanish-style house sits on a little over 1.4 acres of land of the gated Sherwood Country Club right next to the former estate of tennis legend Pete Sampras, which he sold for $13.56 million in 2013.

The 8,456-square-foot home has five bedrooms and a total of seven bathrooms that have been divided with privacy in mind between master, kids, and guest wings.

The back of the manse opens to a large loggia complete with a fireplace and lounge area, dining terrace, bar, and grilling station. The grounds also feature an oversized motor court, a vegetable and herb garden, a spa, and an enormous swimming pool.

Spears dropped $7.4 million for a 20-acre estate only four miles away from her current listing in a different gated community of Thousand Oaks last fall, so it is no surprise she is ready to sell. She currently enjoys a residency at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
