The Bentley Continental GT Speed is already a very fast and luxurious vehicle, but now the British automaker with almost 100 years of pedigree has come out with a new edition of the vehicle, giving it more power and speed.
The new GT Speed features a performance-tuned 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 with an all-wheel drive eight-speed automatic transmission, which is the same engine that’s found in the regular Speed model, just a little tweaked.
After toying with the beast of a powertrain, Bentley gave the supercar 633 horses and 619 pound-feet of torque out of the W12, which is an upgrade from the 626 hp and 605 pound-feet of its predecessor.
The extra power doesn’t increase the top speed of 206 mph—already the fastest a Bentley has ever seen—but it does drop the 0-to-60 mph time to 3.9 seconds from 4.0.
Bentley has also added a new Black Edition of the Continental GT Speed, which is essentially a blacked out version of the vehicle with an all black exterior and interior for even more style on the street.
