Mercedes-Benz hasn’t held back at the 2016 New York Auto Show with the German automaker unveiling yet another car, the 2017 GLC Coupe, on top of the E43 AMG, newly-designed CLA-Class, and C63 AMG Cabriolet to mention a few.
The new GLC Coupe will come in two different models, the GLC300 4Matic Coupe and the GLC43 Coupe from Mercedes-AMG. The GLC300 will house a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 241 ponies and 271 pound-feet of torque, while the GLC43 Coupe will feature a 3.0-liter bi-turbo V6 that packs 362 hp and 384 pound-feet of twist.
Though performance specifications haven’t been released yet, Mercedes believes the AMG coupe will be able to go from zero-to-60 mph in less than 5.0 seconds, which is pretty impressive for an SUV in that segment.
The GLC300 will come standard with off-road suspension, 4Matic four-wheel drive, and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The GLC 300 Coupe will also feature a sunroof and a 7-inch display for its infotainment system. Needless to say, the AMG version will include added features like an 8.4-inch screen for its infotainment display, a head-up display, and an AMG Ride Control Sport suspension setup and a reworked 4Matic system.
Pricing and other information will be revealed closer to the sale date for both of these GLC Coupe models.
