Actor John Cusack has placed his Malibu, California, home up for sale for $13.5 million, and if he earns his asking price, Cusack will make a handsome profit since he shelled out $2.1 million for the property in 1999.

The Spanish-style, 4,660-square-foot house holds 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, including a swanky master “level” that has a private balcony, office, and an over-sized bathroom complete with a two-person soaking tub.

Other amenities of Cusack’s soon-to-be former pad include a gym, dry sauna, and direct beach access to go with coastal and ocean views from a plethora of places in the home.

The politically active Cusack also still owns a 4,371-square-foot, high-floor condo in a sought-after 52-story building in downtown Chicago that he purchased in 2005 for $2.876 million.
