Former University of Illinois guard Deron Williams moved on from the Brooklyn Nets last season in favor of signing with the Dallas Mavericks, and now he is looking to move on from his Manhattan-area condo in New York after renting the property out for the last six months.
Williams recently dropped the asking price of the 7,200-square-foot Merchant House pad to $31 million after initially listing the property for $33.5 million last July.
The six-bedroom spread also comes with an extra 3,000-square-feet of outdoor space, a floating bridge, a climate-controlled wine room, and a great room with two dining tables and two sitting areas. There is also a large kitchen with restaurant-grade appliances and a gigantic marble island with seating for 10 people.
Williams dropped $15.8 million for the property in 2013 and actually combined two units to create the customized palatial condo space. Sadly, as is the life of an NBA player, he is forced to move on from such a beautiful home.
