A-list actress Gwyneth Paltrow and rocker ex-husband Chris Martin have listed their New York City penthouse for $14.25 million. The couple, who recently split, originally purchased the River Lofts unit in the Tribeca area for $5.1 million back in 2007.
Spanning 4,400 square feet, the unit designed by architects Roman and Williams is truly magnificent with a light and bright color palette and modern accents. Luxury features include a private terrace and a library with bespoke bookshelves and a skylight, as well as a custom pressed tin ceiling.
The three-bedroom unit sports two good-sized bedrooms and one spacious master that opens up to the beautiful terrace. Additionally, a marble-clad eat-in kitchen opens up to a spacing living/dining room that leads to the spacious library.
The now-defunct couple had previously lived in a prewar condominium on 13 Harrison Street that they purchased in 2005 for $7.95 million. After a move to England, they returned to NYC looking for another home, but the couple has since filed for divorce.
Whoever purchases the ultra-modern unit will be pleased to find out that Meryl Streep also calls the 1882 brick condo building home.
