Hollywood producer and founder of New Line Cinema, Bob Shaye, just purchased an incredible New York City penthouse for $13 million.

Known for his work on “The Lord of the Rings,” Shaye’s new duplex unit sports four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in a new building in lower Manhattan. Spanning 3,100 square feet, the unit features 11-foot ceilings and plenty of floor-to-ceiling windows. However, the 1,500-square-foot wrap-around terrace might take the cake with stunning views of the city.

Shaye will surely enjoy the glass-walled gallery that connects the living room to an open chef’s kitchen and dining room area. The kitchen is bold and stylish with white matte lacquer cabinets and slab marble countertops.

The master suite also wows with two large walk-in closets, incredible views of the Hudson River, and a marble-walled bathroom. Two guest bedrooms with walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms can also be found on the upper floor.

What makes this unit so incredible is the amount of natural light that floods throughout and, of course, the high-end Tribeca neighborhood locale. Shaye also owns a 1.15-acre property in Beverly Hills, an oceanfront estate in the Hamptons, and two full-floor condos in New York’s Central Park West.
