Textron Aviation, based out of Wichita, Kansas, recently ventured to the NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition at Henderson Executive Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, to introduce its new large-cabin Cessna Citation jet dubbed the Hemisphere.

The 102-inch diameter cabin will be the widest in its class, and a section of it is on display at the convention. The Hemisphere joins the Citation family of stand-up cabin business jets that includes the Latitude and Longitude, with the former earning FAA certification last June.

The power supply and avionics of the Hemisphere have yet to be finalized, but the plane is expected to be able to travel as far as 4,500 nm. It will have a maximum cruising speed of around Mach 0.9.

The Cessna Citation Hemisphere is expected to take its first flight in 2019 and run potential customers somewhere near $35 million.
