Aston Martin has relied on the DB9 model as the flagship of its company for over a decade, and now the iconic British automaker has revealed the next evolution of the iconic supercar at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The DB11 made its debut with an all-new design for both the interior and exterior and a ton of new technology. But the heart of the Aston is still its engine. The DB11 gets a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 monster that pumps out 600 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The DB11 features a lighter and stronger aluminum structure.
Thanks to the lightweight build and the powerful engine, the DB11 leaps from zero to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 200 mph. Aston Martin has also given the DB11 driving modes such as GT, Sport, and Sport Plus to optimize the engine response and stiffen suspension.
Aston says it will add new Vanquish and Vantage designs to the DB11 lineup later down the line. The new Aston Martin will start at $211,995. It is expected to hit sales floors later this year.
