Ferruccio Lamborghini, the man who founded one of the most iconic car companies in the world, would have turned 100 this year. To celebrate his memory, the elite car manufacturer that bears his name has created a special limited-edition model called the Centenario.

The Centenario (Italian for “centenary”) is the ultimate example of Lamborghini’s design philosophy. Standing just under four-feet tall and just over 16-feet long, the Centenario is immediately recognizable as a Lamborghini, but features much more aggressive styling than the Aventador model it is based off of with aerodynamics-enhancing fins, in addition to a pair of vents built into the hood that help add to the downforce and enhance the overall appearance of the vehicle’s front end.

The structural skin and all of the body panels are created out of carbon fiber to make the Centenario as light as possibly, weighing in at only 3,351 pounds, a true feat for such a large supercar.

On top of the ultra-light body, Lamborghini has given the Centenario its most powerful engine ever. Again based off of the Aventador, the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 in the Centenario has been tweaked to offer 80 more horses than the Aventador’s powertrain, bringing the output up to 770 hp. All this means the Centenario can hit 60 mph from stop in 2.8 seconds, 186 mph in only 23.5 seconds, and has a top speed of around 220 mph.

Lamborghini has a extremely limited production run of the Centenario, offering only 20 coupes and 20 convertibles. Pricing will start at $1.86 million, but sadly the entire production run has been scooped up already.
