Music legend Celine Dion has lowered the asking price for her Florida estate down to $45.5 million, after the property has been on the market since 2013 with no obvious takers.
Dion decided to offload the 5.5-acre estate on Jupiter Island after her late husband Rene Angelil was diagnosed with cancer. The price was lowered $10 million about a year after being listed, but now with what is a $30-million cut from the original $75.- million asking price, it is clear the widowed superstar is trying to get rid of the estate right away.
The Jupiter Island compound features a 10,000-square-foot main house that holds five bedrooms and five en-suite bathrooms, a media room, a formal living room, an elevator, and two kitchens. On top of the main residence, there are two four-bedroom guesthouses, a tennis court, a pool house, and three swimming pools with a water park and lazy river.
Dion has a residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, where she will now live full time with her three sons.
