Lexus has revealed at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show a brand new hybrid version of the LC 500 coupe that made its own debut earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show.
The hybrid version has been dubbed the LC 500h. The gas-electric drivetrain will reportedly sport a 3.5-liter V6 and two small electric motors. When working in unison the power sources pump out 354 horses. Lexus claims performance won’t be lacking, with an expected 0-60mph time under five seconds. The LC 500, with its naturally aspired 467-horsepower V8, is expected to clock about 4.5 seconds, so the hybrid isn’t that far off in terms of performance.
The differences between the LC 500 and 500h on the outside is minimal.
Lexus is expected to make the LC 500h coupe part of its 2018 model year lineup, so interested customers will have to wait about another year to get their hands on it.
