The contemporary mansion in Palm Desert, California, of late Emmy-award-winning producer Jerry Weintraub is now available (complete with custom furnishings) for $16 million.

Weintraub purchased the 1.42-acre parcel located within the guarded gates of the BIGHORN Golf Club for $2.25 million in 2002, which now seems like a major steal for the architectural feat.

Guy Dreier was appointed to create the 9,152-square-foot custom-designed house that was featured in Architectural Digest. The home comes with limestone floors, wood-paneled ceilings, hand-finished plaster walls, loads of exotic wood cabinetry, multiple wet bars, and gaggles of flat-screen TVs.

The 5-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom pad also comes with a fully decked out guesthouse, meaning the entirety of the property holds six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms.

The master suite has its own wing of the house, with the four other en-suite bedrooms on the other side of the residence. The property also features a wrap-around pool, a golf cart garage, a gym, and a steam room, on top of many other top-of-the-line extras.

Weintraub, who also produced the three movies of the “Ocean’s Eleven” trilogy starring the likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and a host of other big name stars, was the owner of a two-acre Beverly Hills property that was listed for $25 million and a seven-plus-acre equestrian estate in the star-studded Paradise Cove area of Malibu that sold in 2013 for $41 million.
