Julia Roberts and Danny Moder are finally owners of a $6.84 million home in the star-studded Point Dume area of Malibu, California.

The sale almost didn’t happen since the sellers attempted to cancel escrow in hopes of getting more money for the sale. However, after a yearlong legal battle, Roberts and Moder have secured the beautiful property.

The home in question sits on a 1.16-acre landscaped property and is right across the street from Roberts and Moders’ much more lavish two-ish acre estate that they bought for $9.5 million in 2003.

Roberts and Moder’s new house is a 1,770-square-foot mid-1950s ranch-style house that features exposed ceiling beams and distressed wood floors. The home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living/dining room, a den area, and a kitchen complete with a commercial-style range.

Roberts and Moder have been busy with their residential real estate holdings over the past year. The duo offloaded a two-bedroom Spanish-style bungalow in Pacific Palisades, California, for $1.8 million and sold their former penthouse in New York’s famed Greenwich Village for $5.351 million (almost a million over its asking price).
