Stockholm studio Färg & Blanche has created a unique new collection of sofas and chairs meant to add a contemporary flair to any living space.

The all-new collection for Gärsnäs features Färg & Blanche’s signature “wood tailoring” technique and the brand’s bespoke construction is truly on display. The unique process has taken years to develop and involves stitching fabric directly onto wood.

A customized sewing machine helps to stitch thin layers of plywood together. The Julius seating collection highlights the unique process with upholstered seats sporting arms and backs made from rounded panels of wood.

Each of the wood panels are placed side by side while the fabric and padding are attached directly to the wood pieces, making the stitching and craftsmanship visible to all who wander by.

Just shown at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, interested customers will be able to select various wood stains, fabric colors, and styles.
