Jackie Chan has a good thing going. In fact, the action-film legend and famous stuntman has become the first customer in China to receive an Embraer Legacy 500 private jet.
Chan is actually an ambassador for the Brazil-based aircraft manufacturer and his connection with the brand means he’ll be able to travel across the world much easier in his new jet.
The movie icon began his relationship with the jet brand back in 2012 with his purchase of the Embraer Legacy 650. However, the new jet that starts at $20 million features a bevy of upgraded features, like being the first executive jet of its size to sport side-stick flight controls.
Equipped with a Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics suite and powered by two Honeywell HTF7500E engines, it’s both powerful and technologically advanced. Chan’s new aircraft can cruise at up to 45,000 feet with a range of 3,596 miles. With a 12-passenger capacity and a 6-foot-tall, flat-floor cabin, there’s plenty of space to bring friends or family onboard.
